what is PM Surya Ghar Yojana Scheme?
The PM Surya Ghar Yojana is a flagship initiative by the Government of India aimed at promoting solar energy adoption among households.​Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the Government of India offers substantial subsidies to promote rooftop solar installations in residential households.
🏠 Subsidy Structure for Residential Households

1–2 kW systems receive a subsidy of ₹30,000 per kW.

2–3 kW systems receive ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, and ₹18,000 per kW for the next 1 kW.

Systems above 3 kW are capped at a total subsidy of ₹78,000.🏢 Subsidy for Group Housing Societies (GHS) / Resident Welfare Associations (RWA)
